Privacy Policy & Terms

Effective July 20, 2026

This page explains how Civil Capital ("we," "us") handles information collected through civilcapital.co, and the terms that apply to the zoning feasibility reports we prepare. By using this site or ordering a report, you agree to what's described below.

1. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to prepare and deliver your report and to communicate with you:

We do not collect or store payment card numbers on this site. Payments are handled by our third-party payment processor (see below).

2. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of established providers, each with its own privacy policy:

These providers may process your information on our behalf only as needed to deliver their service.

4. Cookies & advertising

This site may use cookies and similar technologies — primarily to measure the performance of our Google advertising (for example, to know that a visitor who clicked an ad later submitted the order form). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the order form and report delivery will still work.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep order details and the reports we prepare for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to delete your personal information at any time (see Contact), subject to those obligations.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you've given us, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@civilcapital.co. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Terms of service & disclaimer

What a report is. A Civil Capital zoning feasibility report is a first-pass feasibility screen prepared from published municipal ordinance documents by a civil engineer. It reflects only the code text reviewed as of the date of the report.

What a report is not. It is not legal advice, not a formal zoning determination or permit from any municipality, and not a substitute for confirmation with the municipal planning or zoning office, a licensed attorney, or another licensed professional in the relevant jurisdiction. We do not guarantee that any variance, permit, or approval will be granted. Land-use restrictions frequently exist outside the base code we review — overlay zones, redevelopment plans, state jurisdiction, deed restrictions, and pending amendments — and must be verified independently before you rely on any finding.

Your responsibility. You are responsible for your own investment, underwriting, and legal decisions. Any action you take based on a report is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a report or this site is limited to the amount you paid us for that report. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost deals.

Refunds. If we cannot access the municipality's published code for the parcel you submitted, we will not prepare the report and you will receive a full refund. Once a report has been delivered, the fee is non-refundable.

8. Changes to this page

We may update this page from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
